Chow Meinunbakumba

Serves Eight (8)

 

Ingredients

2 kg beef mince
2 onions medium diced
3 carrots thinly sliced
cabbage shredded
2 red capsicum medium diced
2 cups frozen peas
cup salt reduced soy sauce
cup curry powder
cup oil
salt and pepper

 

Method

Heat oil in electric frypan, fry onions until brown.
Add mince and cook until starting to colour.
Add carrots, capsicum, curry powder and cook until soft.
Add peas and cabbage, stirring while cooking.
This takes a few minutes.
Add soy sauce and season with salt and pepper.
Serve with rice or minute noodles.
NOTE: You can add a packet of chicken noodle soup during the cooking process if you prefer.
